This calculator applies a percentage discount — and an optional second stacked discount — to show the sale price and savings. If you enter your cost, it also shows the margin left at the discounted price.

Frequently asked questions
Multiply the price by 0.75. $80 × 0.75 = $60.
Each applies to the already-reduced price, so 25% + 10% gives 32.5% total off.
Up to (price − cost) ÷ price — your current margin. Beyond that, each sale is a loss.
Practically yes; a markdown is a permanent price reduction, a discount often temporary.
In most US states sales tax is calculated on the discounted price.
