Yes. The UK VAT Calculator adds or removes VAT at the 20% standard, 5% reduced and 0% zero rate. To take VAT off a gross price, divide by 1.2.
Do UK pages convert prices from dollars?
No. You enter amounts in pounds and every result is in pounds. The site never converts currencies or uses exchange rates.
Why does Etsy charge me VAT on fees?
Etsy adds UK VAT at 20% to its listing, transaction, advertising and regulatory fees for UK-based shops. VAT-registered sellers can usually reclaim it as input tax.
