What this tool does
Booking.com does not publish a single commission rate — each property's percentage is agreed individually and shown in the partner Extranet, with programmes like Preferred Partner adding an uplift in exchange for visibility. This calculator defaults to the widely cited 15% baseline; replace it with the rate from your own agreement for an exact figure.

Frequently asked questions
There is no single published rate — it is negotiated per property and visible in the Extranet. 15% is the most commonly cited baseline, with many properties paying somewhere in the mid-teens and programme uplifts on top.
Because it genuinely isn't published as a fixed schedule: commission is a term of each partner agreement, unlike Airbnb's or Vrbo's posted percentages.
Preferred Partner properties commit to extra commission (a percentage-point uplift on the base rate) in exchange for a visibility boost and a badge. Enter your uplift in the dedicated field to model it.
Commission is charged on completed (non-refundable and stayed) bookings per your agreement terms; free-cancellation bookings that are cancelled generally aren't commissioned.
Genius discounts are funded by the property as a price reduction, and commission then applies to the discounted amount you actually receive bookings at — model them by entering the discounted booking value.
