What this tool does
Draw random playing cards from a standard 52-card deck — one card for a decision, or a whole hand without duplicates. A standard French-suited 52-card deck, no jokers.
How to use the Random Card Generator
- Enter or select cards to draw.
- Enter or select deck mode.
- Read the calculated result; change any measurement to compare alternatives.
Formula
Without replacement, the 52-card deck is crypto-shuffled and the top N cards are dealt. With replacement, each card is an independent uniform draw from all 52, so duplicates can occur.

Worked example
Sample draw: one card might come out as the Queen of Hearts ♥. Draw five without replacement and you might be dealt the Ace of Spades, 7 of Clubs, 10 of Diamonds, 3 of Hearts and King of Spades — five different cards, guaranteed, because a real deck holds each card once.

Frequently asked questions

No. This is the standard 52-card French-suited deck: four suits (spades, hearts, diamonds, clubs) of Ace through King.
A crypto Fisher–Yates shuffle using crypto.getRandomValues — every one of the 52! deck orders is equally likely, the same fairness standard a well-shuffled physical deck aims for.
Yes — set the count to 5 (or any number up to 52 in real-deck mode). The order drawn is the order listed, so it also works for dealing rounds: draw in batches per player.
Card tricks and practice drills, deciding turns, teaching probability, generating a card-of-the-day, or as a tiebreaker. It is a uniform draw, so it is also a fair way to pick one of 52 options.
