What this tool does
Calculate kill/death ratio, KDA and win rate from your shooter or MOBA stats. Games differ on assists and on whether suicides/environmental deaths count as deaths; use the numbers your game's stat page reports for a like-for-like ratio.
How to use the KD Ratio Calculator
- Enter or select kills.
- Enter or select deaths.
- Enter or select assists.
- Enter or select match wins.
- Enter or select match losses.
- Read the calculated result; change any measurement to compare alternatives.
Formula
KD = kills ÷ deaths; KDA = (kills + assists) ÷ deaths; win rate = wins ÷ (wins + losses) × 100. With zero deaths, KD is shown as total kills (no finite ratio exists)

Frequently asked questions
1.0 means you trade evenly. In most shooters 1.2–1.5 is solidly above average and 2.0+ is elite, but it varies hugely by game, mode and role — objective players and supports run lower KD by design.
KD counts only kills against deaths. KDA adds assists to the numerator, which is the standard in MOBAs and support-friendly shooters where setup play matters as much as finishing.
Games apply their own rules: some count assists, some exclude certain modes, some treat revives or suicides specially, and many display a rounded or season-only figure. This calculator uses exactly the numbers you enter.
Never negative (kills can't be below zero). With zero deaths it is mathematically infinite, so stat sites — and this tool — fall back to showing raw kills.
No. Playing only for KD (avoiding fights, baiting teammates) can raise the ratio while losing games. Coaches and recruiters look at win rate and impact stats alongside KD.
