What this tool does
Walmart Marketplace charges a single referral fee per sale — no monthly subscription and no listing fees. The rate depends on the category and, in several categories, on the price: apparel tiers from 5% to 15%, baby and beauty step from 8% to 15% above $10, and jewelry drops from 20% to 5% above $250. The fee is charged on the total sales price including shipping.

Frequently asked questions
A referral fee of 6% to 20% depending on category — 15% for most categories, 8% for consumer electronics, 6% for personal computers, with tiered rates in apparel, jewelry, watches and others. There is no monthly fee.
Yes. The fee is a percentage of the total sales price, defined as item price plus shipping, handling and gift wrap charges.
Marginally, like tax brackets: jewelry pays 20% on the first $250 of the price and 5% only on the portion above $250, so a $300 item pays $50 + $2.50.
No setup, monthly or listing fees — the referral fee is the only platform charge unless you add optional services like Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS), which is billed separately.
Walmart assigns the category and its contract rate when your account is approved; the full schedule lives inside Seller Center. This table reproduces Walmart's published referral list for the main categories.
