What this tool does
Valve's published revenue-share structure takes 30% of a title's adjusted gross revenue up to $10 million, 25% on the portion between $10M and $50M, and 20% above $50M — the exact percentages live in the Steam Distribution Agreement rather than the public docs. This calculator applies those tiers marginally to a title's lifetime gross revenue.
